Gum Surgery

Gum surgery is done to treat some gum diseases or conditions such as gingivitis, or periodontitis.

Through the gum surgery, we aim to treat the damage by:

  •  Growing damaged bones and tissues again
  •  Preventing tooth loss
  •  Decreasing the gaps between teeth, which are also called black triangles
  •  Shaping the jaw bone again in order to reduce the risk of bacterial growth in bone crevices
  •  Removing bacteria and infection

After the surgery, we will talk you through the recovery process and give you pain medication for the healing duration.

What do you get?

Gums that are healed, tightened, firmer and stronger. We recommend you to go for regular dental checkups so that gum diseases can be prevented. Flossing is also a good way to prevent such conditions.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are the surgical components that connect with the jaw or skull bone in order to support dental prosthesis like crown, bridge, etc. It is basically used to replace the root of a missing tooth.

This procedure is the closest treatment that replaces a missing tooth since it is independent of the other teeth and doesn’t affect them. It is also very stable.

Maximum number of dental implants are made of titanium, so that they are integrated with they can be combined with the bone in such a way that it doesn’t look like a foreign object. Medical science has progressed to a large extent and the results of a dental implant have improved considerably. Their success rate is nearly 98% today.

What do you get?

Once the dental implantation is done and healed successfully, a prosthetic component is connected to the implant with the help of a screw. Make sure to take good care of the implant and prosthesis and get regular dental checkups.

Laser Dentistry

In this procedure, we use lasers, which are extremely focused light beams to remove or alter hard and soft tissues in small amounts.

We use lasers for many dental treatments such as teeth whitening, restorative dentistry, detection of tooth decay and much more. We have specially trained dentists who are skilled in the use of lasers for best results.

We can treat many dental conditions using lasers. Some of them are:

  •  Root Canal Infections
  •  Gum diseases
  •  Treatment of wisdom teeth
  •  Removal of oral tumours

What do you get?

Laser dentistry results in a far smoother post operative experience. This is because lasers do not cause too much bleeding and there will not be any open wound as is the case with a scalpel procedure.

Teeth Whitening

It is the process of lightening the colour of teeth by removing stains and discoloration. This is the most common cosmetic dentistry procedure since it enhances the look of your teeth and in turn, your personality. However, whitening is not a procedure that is done one time. It needs to be repeated after suitable intervals in order to maintain the brightness of teeth.

Your teeth are covered by a layer known as the enamel. The reflection and scattering of light off of the enamel, and the color of dentin (the second layer after enamel) together create the natural color of your teeth. The thickness and smoothness of enamel depends on your genes. The thinner the enamel, the more colour of dentin shows through.

Teeth get stained every day due to a thin coating (pellicle) that is formed on the enamel and collects stains.

What do you get?

Better looking and whiter teeth with skilled treatment and no long-term damage. Our team is highly qualified and aim to give the best results to all our patients.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers, also known as dental veneers are very thin shells that are custom-made with tooth-colored materials for covering the front surface of teeth for better appearance. These veneers improve the look of teeth by altering the color, shape, size or length of teeth.

Porcelain veneers help in fixing problems like:

  •  Discolored teeth
  •  Worn down teeth
  •  Broken or chipped teeth
  •  Uneven teeth
  •  Gaps between teeth

We will perform diagnosis and plan your treatment; prepare your tooth or teeth for the veneer; and then perform the bonding procedure to fix the veneer to your teeth. We might recommend future visits based on the procedure.

What do you get?

You will get a natural tooth appearance with porcelain veneers that can be easily tolerated by the gum and resistant to stains. The porcelain veneer can also be chosen to give you whiter teeth.

Root Canal Treatment

When a tooth is decayed and infected severely, root canal treatment is done to repair and save it. This procedure involves the removal of nerve and pulp and the cleaning of the infected tooth followed by sealing. If the infected tooth is not treated, it can affect the tissue that surrounds the tooth and lead to the formation of abscesses.

“Root canal” is the term that describes the natural cavity in the center of the tooth. There is a soft area inside the root canal, that is known as the pulp or pulp chamber. The nerve of the tooth is situated inside the root canal.

The nerve of the tooth performs the sensory function of providing the sensation of hot or cold. So its presence or absence does not affect the everyday functioning of the tooth.

What do you get?

After a root canal treatment, your tooth may feel sensitive because of the inflammation of the natural tissue. However, we will help you in controlling the sensitivity or discomfort with proper medication. Most patients are able to return to their normal lives within a day.

Fixed Teeth

This treatment is a technique in which the entire arch of teeth that are falling or missing is replaced with the help of dental implants. In this procedure, at least four dental implants are placed in the patient’s top or bottom jaw and then a complete arch of replacement teeth is fixed with these implants.

The number of implants that need to be placed depends on the patient’s requirement and if a fixed denture or a bridge is needed. The implants that are placed at the back of the mouth can be installed at a 45° angle so that most of the available bone is used. This way, we can minimize the need for bone grafting and also give good support to the new set of teeth.

What do you get?

You will get a strong and durable set of new teeth that look exactly like the natural ones. Unlike the dentures, these teeth are much easier to maintain and they do not slip or come loose from time to time.

Braces or retainers are used to fix crooked teeth or misaligned bite. Before going ahead with the procedure, we conduct a complete health checkup including a clinical exam, a digital scan of your teeth, and x-rays of the mouth and head. After that, we plan the rest of the treatment according to the gathered information.

Sometimes, when the condition is not that bad, the patient may only need a removable retainer. In rare cases with an extreme overbite or underbite, the patient may need surgery. However, maximum number of cases can be fixed with the help of braces.

In case the patient needs braces, we prescribe an appliance that is the most suitable for the patient’s requirements. The braces may have bands, wires, and other fixed or removable corrective equipment. There is a different method for everyone.

What do you get?

Braces need to be worn for an appropriate period of time so that they apply continuous pressure and slowly move teeth in the required direction. With time, the bone changes shape to set according to the pressure.

Gap Closures

When there is a gap between two teeth, it is known as “diastema”. Generally, gaps appear between the upper front teeth, but it may appear between any other two teeth as well. There are many reasons for these gaps:

  •  If there is a mismatch between the sizes of jaw bones and the teeth
  •  If there is a missing or undersized teeth
  •  If you have an oversized labial frenum (the tissue that extends from the upper lip to the gums)
  •  Thumb sucking may also result in these gaps
  •  If you have a gum disease

Therefore, if you have a gap between the teeth, you should get it checked so that if it is caused by a gum disease, you can get proper treatment. Gaps might lead to improper functioning of the bite and eventually to painful instances such as chipped or broken teeth.

We provide suitable treatments based on the patient’s requirement. These include dental bonding, veneers, etc.

What do you get?

When you get a gap between two teeth fixed, you will get both aesthetic and health benefits. So do not delay in getting it checked.

dental x-rays

Dental x-rays are radiographs or images of your teeth help dentists in analyzing your oral health. Dentists usually use these to recognize problems such as cavities, tooth decay and impacted teeth.

The number of times you can get a dental x-ray done, depends on your age. Normally, children need it more often than adults to help their dentists in monitoring the growth of their adult teeth. This way, the dentist can figure out early on if the baby teeth need to be pulled out to avoid complications.
